Bilingual Customer Service Agent (French / Dutch)


We are recruiting a bilingual Customer Service Agent to join a growing European organisation active in medical diagnostics and laboratory solutions. The company designs and supplies high-quality diagnostic systems used by hospitals and laboratories across Belgium and beyond, with a strong reputation for innovation, stability, and long-term investment in people.

This is a junior-level role with excellent training and a clear development path for candidates who are technically curious, customer-focused, and fluent in both French and Dutch.


The role

As a Bilingual Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers across Belgium who are using large-scale diagnostic and laboratory equipment. You will provide first-line technical support, guide customers through troubleshooting steps, and ensure a high-quality service experience in both French and Dutch.

While this is a technical support role, prior experience as an engineer or technician is not essential. Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a genuine interest in technology are far more important.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-line technical and operational support to customers by phone and email
  • Supporting users of capital equipment by guiding them through issue resolution and basic troubleshooting
  • Communicating confidently in both French and Dutch on a daily basis
  • Escalating complex technical issues to specialist or field-based teams where required
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and checks on equipment based at the office
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and service activities
  • Building trusted relationships with customers through professional and empathetic communication
